Why does my dog need supplements?

In contrast with us, humans, most dogs eat the same food every day. Whilst most dog food brands are complete, dog supplements help to address any possible nutrient deficiencies that might exist. Next to covering nutrient deficiencies, dog supplements also support overall dog health and help to overcome certain aches and pains. Supplements can provide essential vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that can improve the overall well-being of your dog and can help to improve their life quality.

Do the supplements really work?

Yes! Our supplements are developed by a team of vets and nutritionists and the active ingredients that we use are scientifically proven to help when used consistently and in the recommended quantity. However, it is true that every dog is different and just like for us humans, the same things don’t always give the same results. If you are not happy with the results after 30 days, please contact our team and we will assist where possible.

How long can I do with one tin?

Depends on the type of dog you have. Each tin contains 90 soft chews. If you have a small dog (<10kg), he/she needs 1 chew a day and the tin will last roughly 3 months. For medium dogs (10-20kg) needing 2 chews a day, it lasts 1.5 months. Large dogs (20-30kg) need 3 chews a day and a tin will last 1 month.

What if my dog doesn't like the supplements?

This is most likely due to the unique texture of the chews or due to the active ingredients they are packed with. In the unlikely event your dog doesn’t like the taste, we recommend mixing the chews with their regular dog food or adding a little peanut butter on top. It’s also smart to create a fixed daily routine to feed the supplements, for example just before their morning meal. This will increase the acceptance ratio of the snack.

Can I give my dog more than one type of supplement at the same time?

Yes for sure! All of our supplements can be used together. Their active ingredients won’t interact with each other and are totally safe to use for your dog. You do need to take into account the daily feeding guidelines for your dog to avoid overweight in the long run.
